About the event

We're kicking off the new MYP year with the return of the Bullseye Bash, this time at Black Cat Club.

Darts takes centre stage, though not the pub-league sort. The oches here run on digital scoring with a set of multiplayer mini games, so everyone throws in the same round and nobody's stood waiting for a turn. The screen does the maths. You just throw, chat and hope for the best.

Which means it works whatever your level. A few people will have played before, most won't have, and the games are built so that isn't much of an advantage either way. It's a good excuse to talk to people you don't know yet, and that's always easier with something to aim at.

What's included

Darts, 6-8.30pm

Multiplayer mini games across the oches. Automatic scoring, no prior form required.

Shuffleboard and pool

There for when you want a breather from the board, or a slower game and a longer conversation.

Two alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks tokens per person

A generous buffet of pizza and chips

Stay on after

Gaming wraps around 9pm, but the night doesn't have to. Stick around at the bar for another drink and a proper catch-up if you fancy it.

New to MYP, or coming on your own?

You'll be very welcome, and you won't be the only one. Our first event of the year is the easiest one to walk into: everyone has a drink in one hand, a dart in the other, and a ready-made reason to talk to the person next to them.

What if I can no longer attend?

Please give us at least 48 hours' notice so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list. Tickets are non-refundable.
